These powerful techniques reduce pain, increase flexibility, and restore the ability to recover from many conditions.  People have found Bowen effective for relief from various conditions:

- Stress                      - TMJ                                            - Concussions

- Migraines               - Digestive issues                      - Fertility issues

- Fibromyalgia         - Sciatica                                     - Insomnia

- Stiffness                 - Menopause                              - Parkinson's

- Sprains                    - Neck pain                                 - Frozen Shoulder

- Colic                         - Torticollis                                  - Incontinence

These sessions are generally 45-60 minutes, and take place in a quiet office. Clients lay on a massage table or in a chair.  All work is done with the client's clothes on.   The Bowen practitioner applies gentle, rolling techniques, applied with the thumbs or fingers.  After a few touches, the practitioner will leave the room, and allow a client's body to adjust to the changes that have been made.

It's usually advisable to have 3 or 4 sessions, each within a week or 10 days of each other, to start.  After that, each person decides how often they want to return, to continue the positive effects they've achieved.

MSTR™

MSTR is a unique gentle technique that reorders and releases scar tissue.  MSTR is not painful, even if the scar is uncomfortable.  The work is done within a client's comfort level, with breaks taken as the session goes along. Many kinds of scars are improved with MSTR.

Benefits of MSTR:

  • increased flexibility

  • reduced pain around the scar site and connected parts of the body,

  • increased confidence

  • release of connected emotions.

On the skin surface

  • Cuts from injuries or surgery

  • Burns

  • Acne

  • Keloids

Below the skin surface

  • Muscle tears

  • Trigger points

  • Thicken under skin-surface scars

  • Plantar fasciitis

Sessions can take about 45-60 minutes.  Scars should be at least 8 weeks old before they are worked on.  Many scars 30 and 40 years old respond to MSTR!
